CCE – Clean Capital Energy Austria, market leader in the photovoltaics sector, and Green Energy Projects, a specialist for intelligent building services, have resolved to join forces. Under the auspices of the CCE Group, the two companies based in Garsten, Austria, plan to further expand the centre of excellence for photovoltaics, with new offerings to be added. The specific aim being to push forward jointly with development and offer holistic solutions around photovoltaics. Garsten, 19 July 2019: By coming together in this way, CCE’s position, as a specialist for photovoltaics, is reinforced with further options around energy and electrical technology. The aim being to further strengthen market leadership in Austria and expand contracting for energy solutions. Central to this is pursuing an optimal solution to ecological power generation and concomitant reduction of energy costs.
Expertise and top employees brought together “The electrical technology segment of Green Energy Projects (GEP) will be integrated into CCE Austria in autumn 2019, bringing its expertise and personnel resources under the CCE Group umbrella. Joining forces will create additional prospects for us in the area of electrical technology combined with photovoltaics, and with new partners and employees, greater opportunities for our customers,” remarks Martin Dürnberger, CCE Austria and CCE Group Managing Director. Robert Bogner, Managing Director of GEP and future Managing Director of CCE Austria adds: “By coming together as we have, the expertise we’ve pooled around renewable energies is expansive and holistic in precisely this area. To us, teaming up represents a further important step forward in the corporate development of CCE Austria and GEP and gives additional reassurance to our employees, customers and partners.”
Garsten: Centre of excellence in Austria for photovoltaics
Martin Dürnberger and Robert Bogner have known each other since childhood and being ahead of their time is nothing new to them. They developed the idea of an environmentally friendly energy supply using photovoltaics over 15 years ago. This initial idea led to two successful companies, now working together under one roof. “Having a consistent strategic focus is one aspect. But the fact that we’re both now able to realise the idea we had in a joint company is something very special indeed and a source of great joy. Austria has so much potential when it comes to photovoltaics and it needs strong alliances like CCE Austria to raise these possibilities,” state the two managing directors.
Despite political efforts, the Austrian PV market eased back last year against the European trend. The government now needs to take urgent action on this if climate targets are to be achieved for Austria. Companies like the CCE Group illustrate precisely the opportunities available in the photovoltaics market. The CCE Group has achieved strong growth, in particular by focussing on internationalisation, establishing a series of PV projects in Europe and South America with a total rated output of 1.5 GW.
“The photovoltaics market is changing rapidly,” state the two managing directors. “Today it’s no longer about offering a single service or providing limited services to a single segment, the key is supplying intelligent solutions that respond to the specific challenges of energy transition.” The better you are able to bundle products and services in a single offering, the greater the benefits to the customer. The company is happy to have found a partner in Green Energy Projects therefore to drive forward development with future focus. “Together we’re able to offer various customer groups in the market a holistic solution,” states Martin Dürnberger.
